A Look Back at 2023

As 2023 draws to a close, what better time to reflect on some of the things we got up to at Oil Salvage this year…

Oil Salvage and their little blue bins were on the road a lot this year as we exhibited at a variety of different trade shows and expos. In June, we took to the NEC in Birmingham for Automechanika before heading across to Peterborough for Plantworx. Our expo attendance continued as summer drew to a close, as in September we were back at the NEC for the Resource and Waste Management expo. We had a great time meeting lots of new faces, and of course, catching up with some familiar ones as well, it was wonderful to see all of the developments leading the way in our industry.

In 2023 we also continued our fundraising efforts for the causes close to our hearts, as we climbed mountains, baked cakes, and wore our favourite festive jumpers. The pinnacle of our efforts was Oil Salvage’s ascent up Ben Nevis for the Honeysuckle Bereavement Service at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital, which we raised over £1700 for.

And of course, throughout 2023, our drivers travelled the length and breadth of the country to collect your oil and garage waste, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year… Keep an eye on our social media channels and website to see what we’re up to in 2024.
