Oil Salvage Raise £2000 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity!

Back in October, our team climbed Scafell Pike through the night in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Charity. After leaving Wasdale shortly after 2:30am, our team battled through wind, rain, and fog to reach England’s highest point at 5:52am, and whilst very low visibility took away from the views, it didn’t stop our team from celebrating their fantastic achievement.

We’re delighted to say that our fundraising campaign raised an incredible £2000 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, making it our most successful fundraiser to date and also rounding off Oil Salvage’s completion of the UK’s Three Peaks, after our adventures up Snowdon and Ben Nevis in 2023 and 2022.

We’d like to thank everyone who donated to our fundraiser, every penny raised helps Alder Hey remain a world-class children’s hospital, ensuring that every one of the thousands of children that they treat every year receives the best possible care.

Finally, congratulations to everyone that took part, the spirit and determination of the group to persevere through some very difficult conditions was incredible!
