Why you need a consignment note

When dealing with hazardous wastes, you require a consignment note. But what is a consignment note?

Made simple, a consignment note is the legal paperwork provided when we collect your waste.

It states:

  • Your company’s name.
  • Your SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code.
  • The name of your registered waste carrier – at OSL we are registered to collect all hazardous garage waste.
  • A description of the waste.
  • The relevant EWC (European Waste Code).
  • The chemical breakdown of the substance.
  • The hazard code.

At Oil Salvage, we provide your consignment note for FREE – it is included in our FREE waste oil collection service.
