2024- A Milestone Year for Oil Salvage

As 2024 comes to an end, let’s have a look back at what happened at Oil Salvage in what was a historic 40th anniversary for the company…

Our travels took us to six exhibitions and roadshows in 2024, from the Fleet Managers Roadshow in Warrington to Mechanex in Surrey, our team travelled the country throughout the year to spread the word about how Oil Salvage is here to help. Back in June, we also attended the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event and Hillhead for the first time, before returning to RWM for the second year running in September.  It was great to meet thousands of people across countless industries at the various shows we exhibited at, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year! We also continued our fundraising efforts in 2024, and whether it was through charity bake sales or festive jumper days, we made sure to do what we could to help the causes close to our hearts. Our biggest fundraiser came in October, when the Oil Salvage team climbed Scafell Pike through the night in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Charity, raising £2000 in the process! The ascent up to England’s highest point rounded off a third peak in as many years for Oil Salvage, having climbed Snowdon and Ben Nevis in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

In 2024, Oil Salvage celebrated a historic milestone as the 22nd of October marked 40 years since the company was founded. Throughout the week, we looked back at how our company has grown from its humble beginnings and small team to being at the forefront of the waste oil industry. The anniversary also coincided with the expansion of our onsite re-refinery, which is now capable of processing 1.4 million litres of waste oil per week, showing that we’re showing no signs of stopping our incredible growth.

Finally, our drivers traversed the UK from coast to coast, north to south, serving thousands of customers, and collecting and recycling millions of litres of waste oil, we’d like to thank everyone who’s been a part of our journey in 2024, we can’t wait to see what 2025 and beyond has in store for us!
